The Choice

Edith Eger’s book was an eye opener in many ways. Set in the Holocaust the book details Edith’s journey through the horrors of Nazi rule and her experiences in Auschwitz. The book is a personal account of her reflections of her in camp and what is remarkable about her journey is the fact that she is still a survivor in more ways than one. At over 90 years of age, this geriatric spunk of a woman has used her pain and tragedy to heal millions through her work as a therapist.

However, this did raise existential questions for me on whether its possible to ever truly get rid of pain and if there is, are we all going…
